Yes, I am based in East Londen, very much a continuous learner as you state it, have very varied interests, trying to harness skills and experience and put it to good use to make a difference.
Keep learning, but also apply what you learn, without application learning is like a cloud that can so easily blow away; the application of what you learn is the thunder storm, the result of a build up of clouds that can no longer hold their load. Applying what you learn will impact the "field" you work in, watering all those around you...
