Hi Talya, for the Storytelling, let Katilist know (katilist@gmail.com) - just so that they have an idea for the snacks and seating. But if you bring a couple of extra people on the day, that'll be welcome too. I like your blog. It shows your particular brand of creativity and has a vibrant energy to it.

Hi again! Great, I'll check out your blog. I don't know Ruth, but I'm sure she may well have collaborated with Louise van Rhyn (owner of Symphonia) somewhere along the line. Symphonia is probably best known for bringing Ben Zander out to South Africa. I'm co-hosting a storytelling event in Obz next Sunday if you may be interested. We have a fantastic facilitator who's donating his time, so the cost is only R40. It's on the events section if you feel like joining in.

Hi Talya, good to see that there are more kids on the block with mountains of enthusiasm for both business and fashion! Business Science is a brilliant degree - just take it all in and make it your own! Would be stunning to keep in touch and perhaps collaboratively contribute to the South African Fashion Revolution shaping the wardrobes of the most stylish around!

Keep up the flow of good energy!

Thanks for all the kind comments, Talya.

Yes, despite the fact that I don't have a TV, I haven't missed out on Coro's ad - thought it was really moving. But a brand consultant I dealt with last year had another insight: never start with a brand larger than your own. And it's true, most people who are not in the investment industry only remember it as the Vincent ad - not who the company is. Still a great ad and hats off to Coronation!

Ha-ha, don't think i wanna answer the 'meaning of life' question - and spoil someone's fun finding it out for himself...

Have a great weekend!

lol - my friends know that I'm a link king - quick on the draw I am!

I just stole a blog post from wearenotfreelancers.co.za - it's actually David (Perel)'s fine piece of writing.

Ha-ha, I remember that question! Well, I guess it can't all be serious stuff on there - I hope not.
Thanks for the question on shares - I'll answer that one over the weekend if nobody else does.
REALLY love all your video clips. And excellent posts as well - you're obviously like a fish in the water here on Huddlemind!

About me
I am currently a student at UCT, 1st year Business Science Marketing and was lucky enough to be in Dave Duartes lectures for EBM (Evidence Based Managenment).. which has led me on to the Huddlemind path!

I love marketing, the pace, and the creativity behind it, and have been on a mini Social Media crussade since the beginning of the year, trying to learn as much about it as possible. As well loving the "brains" that goes behind creating an ad campaign, I am an extremely creative person, my worst habit being doodling and day dreaming in lectures :)

I recently started [A Little Bit Of Heaven], for 2 main reasons, the first, allowing me to actually test and see the effects/affects of Social Media, and secondly, allowing me to capitalize on this by selling my art works (as well as products made by a group of my friends).

I hope to keep contributing regularly to Huddlemind.net, and hopefully you'll find it interesting, looking forward to interacting with you in this creative commons!

How the Recession has/will affect Advertisers

With the financial markets taking a enormous hit, and consumers facing a huge credit crunch, it is safe to assume that sales have been lower and shall continue to fall until the world economy begins to revive itself. This however could prove to be extremely volatile, and there is no definite time line, with no end in sight, economist had predicted the worst was over, but this idea was smashed with yesterdays bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, as well as the US government having to bail out AIG, the… Continue
