I am looking forward to connecting with friends old and new on this network - and more especially being part of developing some good ideas, practice and new directions for experiential education. Please don't hesitate to make suggestions for the improvement of the capabilities and structure of Huddlemind - I will make sure these are explored and if we can, are carried out for you.

Hi Bill,

How was the journey? Was it a good experience? What did you learn? What would you do differently next time?

More seriously, yes it would be great if you could post some of your papers!

I've been on holiday this last week and had limited internet access; I'm going to be spending some time this week trying to make the group more active.

Hi Bob,

Finally made it - this is a group which should grow...

Do you want me to post some of my papers?

Best wishes

Hi Paul,

Good to you have you on board (can you say that for a web site?); I started running OMD programmes in September 1986 with Development Training Ltd. My "tutor" was a Gestalt practitioner.

I look forward to sharing and exchanging ideas.

Thanks for the article Bob. I found it very interesting and useful. I have recently started facilitating personal development groups in the outdoors and I'm working towards expanding this to work with management teams. So your article has provided some food for thought. Thanks!

Management Teambuilding.pdf Here's an article I had published in 1999 (in the last century!!); it's entitled "Putting Management Team Building to Work" and treats the design and delivery of outdoor based management development. Hope you find it useful.

Will do! I hope others do the same, my intention is to create a "place" where people can exchange and share anything related to experiential learning. There are also a couple of discussions that I intend to start; the first based around "reviewing" and the second around getting from "here and now learning" to "there and then application" i.e., dealing with the problem of learning transfer and creating what I call the "transfer bridge".
